Put your hand on anyof the tubing and notice the finish is silky smooth and the texture ofthe carbon fiber gives the bike depth and character. However,aesthetics only begin the story for the BMC Pro Machine!

BMC hascontinued to make some of the lightest road bicycle frames on themarket, but that's not BMC's sole goal. BMC is driven to make the most efficientbicycle while providing the best overall comfort. To accomplish thisgoal BMC takes the floor as a bicycle driven by technology. The BMC ProMachine is the first and only bicycle to be developed usingcarbon-nanotube-technology CNT, which is found only in Easton products.CNT technology adds small carbon tubes which provide a superior bondbetween layers of the carbon. This greatly improves the stiffness andincreases the lifespan of the entire frame, especially the carbon fiberdropout.

BMCdoes not stop there, however! BMC designed the frame's tube/luginterfaces much farther away from high stress junctions such as thehead tube and the bottom bracket. This greatly enhances the strength ofthe frame and also improves the rigidity.

BMC understands thatdeveloping a stiff and responsive bike doesn't correlate to the bestriding bike. Comfort and efficiency is the key.
